先日、仕事場から帰る電車の中で、ふと、こんなことを思った――そう言えば以前の僕は、これからゲームを作り始めよう、ってときに、まずメモリマネージャーから実装を始めるような世界にいたなあ、と。
「ゲーム」を作る仕事のはずが、まず「メモリマネージャー」って……でも残念ながら、それには様々な背景が絡んでいて、いちおう理に適った行為であったし、今でもそうしている人たちは存在する。
